Chris Rogerson21-year-old Chris Rogerson has been chosen as the new Young Concert Artists' Composer in Residence by a panel of distinguished YCA Alumni.

Young Concert Artists offers commissions for two works written for YCA soloists to premiere in their debuts. Rogerson's first work will be for pianist Charlie Albright, winner of the 2009 Young Concert Artists International Auditions, who will perform it at the Kennedy Center on February 14, 2011 and in New York's Merkin Hall on March 8, 2011.

Rogerson joins the roster of YCA and receives YCA management services, including performances of his music and commissions.
