Three YCA Artists received rave reviews from The New York Times for
their performances with the Orchestra of St. Luke’s at Alice Tully Hall:
“One highlight of the worthy Young Concert Artists series is its annual
Irene Diamond gala concert. The program was a reminder of the
exceptional caliber of musicians supported by the Young Concert Artists
series. It began with Glière’s lushly romantic, amiable concerto, with
the excellent harpist Emmanuel Ceysson as soloist. He performed the
extravagantly arpeggiated passages with flair. The fine mezzo Sasha
Cooke sang ‘Les Nuits d’Été’ with an expressive, amber-hued voice.
Jean-Frédéric Neuburger tore into the concluding Presto [of Saint-Saëns’
Piano Concerto No. 2] with jaw-dropping panache.”

in his own right.”
